Phionah's Story
Through Village Enterprise, Phionah received hands-on business training and mentorship. Along with two other women, Annet and Zebiya, Phionah started a small retail shop in western Uganda. Their newfound skills and confidence helped their business to thrive—lifting their families out of extreme poverty.
They’ve recently launched two more businesses—a sugarcane farm and a goat-rearing enterprise.
